Founded in 1814, Romanengo’s “Bottega Storica” is one of Genoa’s most treasured heritage spaces. In 2021, it underwent its first major restoration — now complete with the opening of La Corte: a café, tea room, and ice cream parlor that reimagines the Romanengo universe with elegance and reverence.

Designed by our studio, La Corte celebrates craftsmanship, memory, and time.

Recognized as a protected monument, the Bottega Storica has been carefully restored to return its original beauty to Genoa and its community.

The space features original furniture veneered in Spiniero wood (West Indian Satinwood), hand-carved Palissandro Rio details, precious marbles, and restored bronze gas chandeliers.
