]]> Marceline is a double-height glass pavilion at Wood Wharf, designed to feel clear, contemporary and enduring. Soft-leather banquettes, a zinc bar and brass details set the tone, while louvres bring natural light across the striped marble floor. In the evening, the space is defined by warm lighting and a central column inspired by Parisian streetlights. A mezzanine in deep red tones adds a more intimate area, complemented by an outdoor terrace for warmer days.

The kitchen, led by Robert Aikens (Le Gavroche, Pastis), focuses on refined classics—cheese soufflé, steak tartare, apple tarte fine—alongside a European wine list and standout British sparkling wines.

]]> Ikigai Velázquez reimagines the spirit of 1980s New York nightlife within the historic architecture of Schreck. Designed by Cousi (AD100), the restaurant leads guests underground into a main dining room defined by soft curves, graphic beige-and-black carpeting, lacquered furniture, and bouclé seating. Mirrors, arched niches with decorative objects, and a sculptural sushi bar in black leather and steel complete the space, evoking the atmosphere of a Fifth Avenue apartment.

From an antique tiled stove crafted in 1910 by the renowned Steinmetz workshops in Strasbourg, to an 1960s original tapestry found in a Parisian antique shop, paired with hand-painted Fajalauza ceramics from Granada — every piece tells a story. These historical elements are thoughtfully contrasted with contemporary design, giving life to a truly atemporal concept found only at Áurea.

]]> Founded in 1814, Romanengo’s “Bottega Storica” is one of Genoa’s most treasured heritage spaces. In 2021, it underwent its first major restoration — now complete with the opening of La Corte: a café, tea room, and ice cream parlor that reimagines the Romanengo universe with elegance and reverence.

Designed by our studio, La Corte celebrates craftsmanship, memory, and time.

Recognized as a protected monument, the Bottega Storica has been carefully restored to return its original beauty to Genoa and its community.

The space features original furniture veneered in Spiniero wood (West Indian Satinwood), hand-carved Palissandro Rio details, precious marbles, and restored bronze gas chandeliers.
